"Dynasty" first aired in 1981 as a primetime drama about a rich family in Denver, and faster than you can say 'Joan Collins', it became a cultural phenomenon that too soon devolved into campy soap opera, culminating in the infamous 'Moldavian Massacre' episode. Still, it was a lot of fun while it lasted.
